7,5,&1 about my dream fic!!!!!

7. Were there any major decisions I made about the fic that could have made it go a whole different direction?oooOooh well!! in the first draft, the VERY first draft, the handwritten draft, liam met harry about 2 scenes after zayn met louis. i scrapped that scene about three pages later and wrote on as if it never happened. i don't know how the plot would have shaped if i had kept it that way! oh and also on my computer somewhere still sits about 10k of a plotline that i cut from it altogether where zayn and harry have a falling out and stuff happens and blah blah

5. What part of the fic am I still dissatisfied with?HmMmmmMMMM. there's a few scenes in the beginning of liam's plotline with louis that i just had to accept i was never going to b totally happy with. there were some bits at the end too like, idk i was concerned a lot about repetitive language with the reuniting with the families and stuff. again though most of it was just me wayyy over analysing and i had to let it go haha

1. What was my inspiration for this fic? How did it come to me?well dreams and magical codependence and semi-platonic semi-romantic relationships have always been things that intrigued me like things i wanted to explore, but i actually just started writing this fic out of the blue like there was no planning or beginning concept or anything. i had just watched this is us and i was so charmed and achy about how liam kind of glows?? and i wrote (a less refined version of) that paragraph that introduces him from niall's pov in the first chapter. and then it just, spiralled, and now here we are. omg

19: A fact about your personality

Hmm,  I don't know how familiar you (and everyone else is) with the whole thinker, relater, direct personality types but i would classify myself as a thinker, which is exactly what it sounds like.  I have a few relater tendencies because that's what my mom is.

26: My biggest pet peeves

People who are constantly late, slow drivers and people who are rude to workers in the service industry. 

36: Where I would like to live

You know, I used to say anywhere but where I'm currently living but for the moment I kind of happy where I'm at.  In the future, I'm not sure. We'll see where life takes me.

REACHING INTO THE DEEP RECESSES OF MY SOUL AREN'T YOU

big spoon/little spoon: jade loves to curl around liam and sleep on him shoves him around until she's comfortable but yeah it usually ends up with her being the little spoon in the morning and she's very okay with it. his hands tend to wander in his sleep, cupping her breast  or slipping low on her hips. she's very okay with that too. liam like how she curves her bum into the cradle of his hips and in the mornings she presses back and turns around, rolling him to his back so she can drap herself on his chest.favorite non-sexual activity: they like doing all the boring homey stuff and end up with liam watching stuff on tv with jade's feet in his lap as she writes in her book or read. but secretly they love going out and just walking around with no real reason, holding hands, and exploring. having lunch or dinner in some cafe and spending time in the park. who uses all the hot water: jade, she has a lot of hair to wash. most trivial thing they fight over: neither can pick a restaurant to save their lives and the fact liam thinks he's neat.who does most of the cleaning: jade because liam thinks he's neat and YOU ARE SO NOT. what has a season pass on their dvr/who controls the netflix queue: share it tbh, they like too many different things to not split stuff down the middle, but strictly and so you think you can dance are their top shared favourites.who calls up the super/landlord when the heat’s not working: both. liam usually when he notices jade slipping and extra jumper on when in the house.who steals the blankets: jadewho leaves their stuff around: liam who remembers to buy the milk: jadewho remembers anniversaries: liam. jade like to pretend she forget sometimes just to mess with him.

big spoon/little spoon: zayn like to curl himself around liam and press his nose to liam's neck and feel how their bodies line up, slipping his leg between liam's as they fall asleep, but in the mornings they shift ‑ when one moves in his sleep the other follows ‑ and he smashed his face in the pillow, liam's arm heavy around his waist who kisses his cheek because liam always always always gets up first. he likes the sturdiness of liam around him, yes, but there's something about being the person liam allows to hold him when liam is usually trying to be the strong one. favorite non-sexual activity: reading comics, well, mostly zayn reading comics as liam plays video games, but he's usually reading the comics out loud to liam who always asks zayn to tell him what's going on. and then coaxes zayn to play a game with him (and louis via ps3) in which zayn wins and liam pouts. they like movies but it's usually stuff at home with takeout because zayn isn't a huge fan of going to the cinema. liam follows zayn to waterstones and flips through comics he knows zayn has at home while zayn picks up books and then they go have lunch and liam makes them to at the disney store on principle or a game store before they head back home. who uses all the hot water: zayn most trivial thing they fight over: dc vs. marvel AND IT'S NOT TRIVIAL OKAY. also movie adaptation of superheroes. except nolans batverse they've agreed it's better to agree to disagree there. how much fanfiction liam reads. when zayn leaves his wet towels on the bathroom floor and all his hair stuff a mess.who does most of the cleaning: liamwhat has a season pass on their dvr/who controls the netflix queue: zayn, he's got a list and NO LIAM IF YOU WANT TO WATCH AGENTS OF SHIELD GET YOUR OWN SEPARATE ACCOUNT.who calls up the super/landlord when the heat’s not working: liamwho steals the blankets: zaynwho leaves their stuff around: zaynwho remembers to buy the milk: zayn, because he know how milky liam likes his teawho remembers anniversaries: zayn, but liam does the bigger more overtly romantic gestures that has zayn blushing, because liam gets so over the top excited sometimes and rose petals are cheesy as fuck.
