------IT TOOK A lot to intrigue aleks beyond work in some fashion, beyond the quick moments he connected with one individual or another. meeting hisashi in the middle of perceived panic was not a good means to explore that natural curiosity, though he couldn’t help but wonder in what ways the ghost’s affliction could extend into usefulness. he’d asked him t meet back at the tavern once the sun had come up, to perhaps poke his nose into business that wasn’t necessarily his to look into. but now he had an interest. in the form of a rune so very similar to that drawn on the exits of the tavern the night before amidst the myriad of scars and tattoos aleks claimed. it somehow felt very personal.
“ thank you for meeting me back here, ” always polite, though he was interested to see if the specter would shimmer in the daylight now that it poured through the windows of the wrecked bar. he offered his hand to shake, though wondered if it was possible or not. “ i appreciate you taking the time. ”
