“Oh my god your face. That was priceless!”
A lone belated easter egg rolls from under the couch to bap harmlessly at Brand's feet. Inside are a few chocolate pieces that couldn't be finished, along with a plastic glow bat ring. The outside only says 'happy Egg.'
… Happy Egg.
Someone is getting marshmallow-themed food later.

Hey there! I wanted to give you and your brother a head’s up; I know you guys don’t come over as much as you used to, but there’s a couple new people staying at my lair, so don’t get surprised if you run into someone you don’t recognize if you come over.
Anyway, how’s things going?
peachy

Cute. Mim is a rediculous cute. Unfair. Photo might be snapped for posterity.
They would both need a clean after this but definitely worth it.
As they worked through the fruits Mim took a pit and started rubbing it against the nearest rough surface, flipping it over once one side had been mostly worn down and grinding the other.
By the time they’d finished a peach or two Mim had a small glowing ring. They held it up to peer through the center, seeing the zone distort through a film of ambient plasm.
They trilled softly before handing the ring over to Dan, chewing over another peach in curious anticipation.

That wasn’t a voice he’d expected to hear - so much so, in fact, that at first, Dan was certain it was another hallucination. It wasn’t until his ghost sense, delayed after incessant needling and prodding, caused him to involuntarily shiver did he recognize that the blurry shape on the other side of the barrier might actually be someone.
Not that it was someone that he intended to offer a friendly greeting to, mustering what little energy he had left to hiss and curl his claws against the cement floor.
Yep, that was one of Dan’s Family. They hadn’t talked much past that initial pouncing but if there was anyone he trusted out there besides Plas it was Dan.
“Hey... I know you probably don’t... well I can probably get you out and to Dan... or Danny?” Of course he could be so far gone that talking wouldn’t do much good. Oh well, that bridge could be crossed if need be. “Just... I can help... or I could go get someone better but that might take longer.”
