i changed him slightly- i took away all his watches except for two to keep it more simple. i wanted him too look more fake, more “doll” like. i thought like, with that “scar” or rather, a crack, ontop of his clock chest, makes me think of a automaton.

clockwork was also my fave as a kid, so being able to draw him today just feels rewarding? like... 8 year old me would be so proud

// Fun fact! Lance was actually meant to be your generic, two shoes heroic good guy(tm) uwu. Which is the standard, for pretty much the majority of these types of characters.

However, I honestly can’t remember what made me drop it and go with my current take on him. All I know is that, I’m super thankful for everyone who supported me to get creative with this character.

Since then, I have never more felt afraid nor scared to try different and wild ideas for my muses. I say this bc we are in a fandom, where IS2G you can’t do anything in the slightest different without someone coming at you with a big fat call out post.

Obviously, I’m certain I’ve made my taken on this character less attractive to many RPers. But at the same time, I honestly I don’t regret making the changes I did on him!

No worries! I’ve seen the posts, too.

There’s never a time in the show where he’s shown loving it, but when @diddly-darn-ghost says something, I don’t question it. Danny loves guac now.

But no, in canon, that was never a thing.
