What are your favorite (positive) anders headcanons?

Okay, here’s one (well two) for you - 

He has a drawer full of drawings from children he’s healed in his clinic, because he saves every single one. Sometimes he looks through them to remind himself of the good he does. We know he used to doodle in text books in the Circle, and he’s actually pretty good at drawing himself, too.

from the first “oh god hes hot” (hawke @ anders) hawke is always on the lookout for cats in kirkwall. he never finds one but its like an ongoing thing, and much later on when they finally get together, hawke tells him and anders with tears in his eyes “you..... youve been looking for a cat for me”? “well of course! from the moment we met you’ve been talking about missing yours! and i wanted you to get another ser pounce a lot!” and anders just hugs him and cries

after oriana comes to stay (as a paid servant) hawke asks anders what his favorite meals are and makes sure they are served regularly

theyre the kind of couple that makes their friends tired of pda when they are around even when they aren’t even touching. hawke is big on forehead / cheek kisses and putting his arm around anders waist 

 hawke is very gentle with anders, especially on bad brain days. he just sits patiently near him, not judging or being hard on him. when anders finally settles down he just holds him. lets him cry or whatever he needs.

hawke tells anders they dont want to be in kirkwall forever and want to be away from the templar nightmare so they can finally settle down and have a happy life together without fear, and he cant wait for that day

he asks about if he ever wants kids, because he cant imagine a better father than him, especially to a mage child. how lucky a kid would be to have him.

when anders first moves in hawke would be woken up by anders nightmares and anders felt bad, though hawke never minded at all. after many years it was second nature for hawke to reach out and hold him on the bad nights, hawke wouldn’t even wake up anymore. anders did though, and he was always so grateful to have him there.

they do fight, but they make up quickly. only once did one of them storm off (hawke) and anders was a mess when he returned so hawke vowed to never put him through that again. and he never did.

what’s your favorite anders headcanons?

my fave hc is that, given the right conditions, anders ends up entrusting ser pounce to the dao warden (if alive) or the daa warden! i was always so annoyed they made him get rid of ser pounce, so imagining he’s safe and cozy with a friend is 💗💗💗

a lot of anons and ex mutuals harassed me abt my personal life/trauma/coping because i refused to share it, so ty for that post. tumblr is a mess!

God I feel you on that. I remember joining this site at 15 and seeing kids my age list all their traumas, their mental illnesses, why they didn’t like associating with people named (x) and (x) for trauma reasons like -- this places is still a mess, and the earlier years it was just completely disgusting.And along the topic of mental illnesses you had to list if you were prof. diagnosed or self diagnosed like..............no weirdo behind a screen needs this info.
