Hi! Looking forward to ep6 (and 7!). I was wondering: in the legal arbitration scene, Louis says something about Lestat coming over to Paris for the trial, “learning lines” etc. Do we the audience and/or Louis learn about the circumstances of Lestat being at the trial in ep6?
No.
But as said before - the show making a point of other characters believing he did? Means something.
Hi! You’ve been awesome at answering all these questions and I thank you so much for your time.
I’ve read the books up to TotBT so I know the beats of the story, and Lestat has a lot of trauma to unpack. Jacob has confirmed “this season is HEAVY”. I know we’ve seen some bits of humour in the release clips, but I was wondering overall — one of the things that I enjoy about Lestat as a book narrator is that he’s just so much FUN. He enjoys life and living and experiences and people. Do we still get some of that bleeding through the trauma, or is his spiralling this season going to be overwhelming that?
Thank you, and I hope you are having a great day 💛 regardless of whether you have time or inclination to answer this.
Oh you are going to get that, yes.
Despite it all, this IS Lestat.
And that does come across.
I think you'll absolutely love it.
