stumble and fall.

Though he preferred to have others wait on him rather than vice-versa, the duelist was generally one to be quite punctual. There was a small tournament in the entertainment district, promising that he would meet his younger brother there after his class -- Today would have of course been the day that it ran an extra ten minutes as the professor babbled about a topic he did not care for in particular. To get to where he was heading, he had to transport himself through the slum district. Rather than taking a bus and potentially waiting far too long for it to arrive, he chose to walk or rather... run because of how late he was going to be.
Bag slung over his shoulder that contained homework and his deck box, as well as another binder filled with them of ones he did not include in his deck and were up for trading bounced a bit as he ran. His attention diverted from his movements to readjust it as it was slipping off from his movement. The temporary lapse cause him to have some awful luck. Running into another person the second he looked up, unable to stop his momentum in time and slamming directly into the other person. Atem stumbled back a bit in effort to catch himself and it worked, albeit ungracefully as ever.
Reaching his hand out, he gripped at the persons arm in order to steady them so they did not fall as well. Blinking a bit at how fast he was able to react he looked at the other with a weak smile, obviously a bit embarrassed he’d run into another person.
“Pardon me -- I am in a bit of a hurry and did not mean to hit you.”
