She was right wasn’t she? Here she was wanting him to talk to her, wanting him to be honest. That meant she actually wanted him to stay around, right? But it wasn’t...easy for him. Opening up after being closed off for so long?

Her last sentence made him snort and he shook his head, glancing back at the droid. “He’s a chatter box alright, not a nice one.” He said, sitting forward again. “Alright alright, I’ll try to answer more questions.” He chuckled. “Sorry-it’s not really easy, spent to long dodging them, right?”

     sabine let a soft laugh escape her lips as she leaned forward, her honey-colored gaze shifting over to hera. “okay, maybe that’s a good term for it…” sabine knew that she could be reckless at times. it wasn’t like she could help it though — she was MANDALORIAN, after all.

     “but it’s not like you don’t take risks that can make certain crew members a BIT nervous,” her tone was playful as she held her hand up, her thumb & pointer finger a mere inch from each other. behind her teasing tone was a sprinkle of seriousness, because the people on this ship may be a crew, but emotionally, they were all so much MORE than that.

 IT HAD BEEN A LONG, LONG TIME since Phralmah had been apart of such a bustling atmosphere -- not since her days spent in the Jedi Temple. That was why she so LIKED being in the Rebel base: there were always people to assist & always work to be done. 

That was PARTIALLY why she was so glad to’ve been assigned to aid Hera on her mission, thanks to her sensitivity with the Force. Always new people to meet, new places to go. It alleviated some of her SORROWS in regards to... well... everything if she was BUSY. 

 “Captain Syndulla, yes?” Phralmah approached the other on her ramp characteristically TIMIDLY, outstretching her supple Rodian hand for the younger woman to take. “I’m -- Phralmah Zap. I was assigned to be your copilot today.”

Kanan had been training in the cargo deck, forgoing his usual attire for simply his pants and boots. It’d been a while since he’d practiced with his lightsaber, and going through his paces was taking a bit long than he’d thought.

He finally stopped in his end position, panting lightly. He deactivated the saber and straightened up. He paused as he felt a presence, slowly turning around to look up at Hera at the ledge. A slight smile came to his face and he gave a little wave, “Oh-hey-I didn’t hear you come up.”

               A FEELING LIKE dread hovers over the room, leaden light declining through strange, half-blackened window panels. The sloped ceiling hangs a pall of darkness over one the far end, where a corridor waits just out of reach. Heavy footsteps interrupt the tense silence, its breath shot through with steel, the reedy rhythm of fear. Made flesh by a hand in the darkness. Red light seizes the room, the smell of ozone like fire in the air.

 “HEY, LOOK WHO IT IS. CRAZY DRIVER.” I-Five observed in the NEUTRAL, even tone that was so characteristic of droids, raising his metallic arm in a wave as the Twi’lek entered the Medbay. “I’m assuming you’re not here to engage in a deep, delightful conversation with yours truly?” He took some scuffling steps in her direction, his photoreceptors trained almost intimidatingly on her. “-- What is your need, Captain Syndulla? As you know, I simply live to serve.”
