Dunno if this ever will be finished, so have a WIP:

It becomes their little routine. It's weird how used he is to it by now. Being haunted isn't so bad after all, it's more of a nuisance than anything else. He doesn't feel threatened, only judged by attentive green eyes.

It's only when he sees him during the day that his blood runs cold. Because when he sees him then, he's always close to Nuonuo. Always watching her. Always with that same dull expression in his eyes and a subtle smile on his lips.

Ghostblade wants to chase him away. Wants to protect his little girl, even though he knows that ghosts can't touch the living. But there's an underlying dread inside of him, always waiting for Ah Sheng to do... something. Hurt her. Take her away.

It's these days when he begins to understand Ah Sheng's last words. Wasting his last breath to beg for his son's life.

And it's these days when Ghostblade is sure, had he killed that little brat back then, Ah Sheng would've taken his daughter already. An eye for an eye and there was nothing that Ghostblade could've taken from him in revenge.

But Ah Sheng never does anything like it. Just watches. Day after day.
