There was an odd sense of deja vu that struck him in his chest, but he shrugged it off and rolled his shoulders. Even if he experienced this before, it wasn’t going to stop him. This wasn’t some celestial sign about how he needed Ronnie. She would never take him back, not if he expressed how he felt. Only because she didn’t want to hurt him by the distance between them. He ran a hand through his blonde hair and scoffed. If she didn’t want to hurt him, this was one hell of a way to show it.
