Despite all odds, she got to experience mostly warmth from the Scordato’s. Carmen had a lot of respect and admiration for the Scordato matriarch. She had been the most welcoming and she couldn’t ask for a better sister-in-law. The past few weeks were busy for Carmen, opening up her restaurant as she tried to balance all of her roles in life. She was a perfectionist, though, and would never serve anything else then extraordinary at her new business. Mingling with her employees, she heard the door open into the newly remodeled building. “Giada,” the brunette said with a smile as she approached her with a hug and a kiss on her cheek. “I’m glad you came! I hope you haven’t eaten anything… you’re about to roll out of here!”

it didn’t take much of him to pick a lock and since he knew that gia would not be up for visitors he made it his mission to make himself useful. opening the door he makes his way through the grand manor as he places the bags on top of the kitchen counter . seeing the blonde appear he smiles ❝ ciao zia, come stai? ❞ he spoke her way with a small smile ❝ i’m cooking for you since i’m guessing that you’ve been either glued to gerard’s side or your bed so i’m going to cook for you , take a seat and serve yourself some wine. ❞

it was late , later than usual and by now he would be home but he simply couldn’t sleep not right now. after having a few drinks , making his way to  palm spirits , it had been a long time since he had last been there.  there isn’t a lot of people out of this time of night, its basically deserted and he orders another drink , this one doesn’t do anything but cleanse his pallet. he turns to his side to see the seat taken by a blonde figure , one that he recognized all too well ❝  mh, very brave . ❞  he says between small sips of the liquor ❝  came to rub in your dirty little hit , if I were you I would walk away . ❞  he makes his words clear , he wouldn’t hurt her here not when his mind he had a more devious plan but he remains quiet looking at the blonde.

it doesn’t take him long to unbuckle the straps on the toddler as soon as gia takes a seat , as soon as the baby sees the blonde woman she begins to reach out for her crazily. he smiles handing gia his child as he runs dainty digits through dark locks  ❝  you know i thought coming back , i would have a calm few days and i come back to this shit show .❞ he knows it’s a touchy subject but gia has always been like a second mother to him . ❝  what the hell was gus thinking , we do not need this type of heat right now and i should not be looking over my shoulder with my 7 month old daughter !  ❞
