RuPauls attempt to prove he isn’t transphobic is shit

To catch you up: people went ballistic when RuPaul said he didn’t want trans women on his show as it would be, in his words, “like doping at the olympics”. He was called out by tons of fans and then made a public apology for what he said. Now trans women are allowed on the show, but still no cis women in drag.

So yeah, Ru probably went about explaining himself poorly but at the end of the day, it feels more transphobic for him to allow trans women (but not cis women) than to allow no women at all. Trans women ARE women so why let one and not the other?
