So Uprooted!Gideon is supposed to be an Irish Wolfhound from his dad's side - massive fuzzy dogs originally bred to hunt wolves.

His mother's species was never defined, hence why he's a mix (also to match the original genasi), but then just now I got curious to see if there are any photos of wolfdogs that are half irish wolfhounds and

so yeah maybe Uprooted!Gid is actually a half wolfhound wolfdog

So episode 19 fuckin wrecked me holy shit FAVORITE EPISODE SO FAR. Just. All of it.

○ The return of Torbek/Andy (who is like SO gracious as a DM oh my god, just constantly saying thank you and being open to learning things, like, aspire to be more like Andy!) ○ Andy RP'ing Torbek cowering while everything went on around him after he came to was Chef's Kiss. ○ If anything happens to Twig, I'm killing everyone in this bar and then myself. ○ On the subject of Twig, hysterical that she got the most blows in on Torbek during the fight while the guys got their shit WRECKED. Top Tier honestly. ○ Gricko arguing with Gideon and Kremy about telling Torbek the truth about Guys Night easily rocketed to the top of my favorite Gricko moments. I hope there are more serious moments for Gricko like this but I also know Mikey is a Silly Little Guy so I won't hold my breath. Either way it was nice! ○ Gideon standing right next to Kremy while Kremy inspects Torbek even though Torbek said he wouldn't hurt Kremy. ○ The dichotomy of Big Giant Gideon and Teeny Tiny Twig is so precious to me. I hope Twig sticks around for a while. ○ Frost immediately removing himself from everyone after the fight stuck with me like, he tries so hard to walk a line between detached and caring for his friends, and while he hasn't seen Torbek in a long time, he's still gentle with him, encouraging him to drink the bean milk because it will help him feel better. ○ Gideon wanting to figure out the mechanisms on Torbek's back to the point where he asks Twig to teach him Sylvan so he can read the book he got from her.

The RP'ing in this episode was simply fantastic, and I think giving Nikkie an established character to interact with everyone else was a great idea, because it helps keep everyone on track and in the moment. Onto episode 20!

from my minimal understanding (6 eps ouaw, fanfiction, and shorts) of coalecroux im assuming kremy thinks gideon is straight for years "i can never catch a fuckin break with fellas" and upon finding out he's bi gives him the silent treatment because "assholes liked men this whole time an never even asked me out once i cant believe the nerve"
