where: Amos’ flat who: Amos Diggory and Gideon Prewett ( @prwttgdnn )
Come hell or high water, or killer hang-over, a parent’s body clock will always come through. That’s why despite the pounding Amos in Amos’ head that complained, almost offended that he would even be awake at that moment, he forced himself to open his eyes. What greeted him was the sight of his friend’s face. He was asleep.
His chest felt heavy in the best way possible. Not out of worry or anticipation. But it's stemming from knowing the fact that after last night, things are now irrevocably changed. Amos felt the urge to touch him, hug him, or run his fingers through his hair, but it felt like a sin to disturb him. So instead, he rose from his bed. He grabbed both of their clothes that were scattered on the floor. Amos put on a new set of clothes while he laid out Gideon’s neatly on the side.
He unlocked the door to his room - thank Merlin his drunk self still remembered to do so last night - and proceeded to clean up any remnants of what happened last night. The mugs left unwashed were stashed away on the sink. The empty bottle was thrown out. And the one they never got to finish was capped once more and placed back in the cupboard where it belonged. Amos made himself a fresh batch of coffee to clear his head. He’ll definitely have to talk to Gideon and see where he stands. But for now, Cedric, and perhaps Gideon, would be up soon, so he proceeds to make breakfast.
