Since his birthday was in the middle of the week and it had already come and gone, Amosfell right back into his daily routine. He took out both of his special boys to dinner in a place they would otherwise never visit. But after a lovely dinner, they went back home and prepared for the next morning since both Amos and Gideon still had work the following day. Amos had no complaints whatsoever. Especially since he still had this weekend to look forward to. Cedric had been looking forward to spending the weekend with his grandma, while Amos could spend quality time with his boyfriend alone.
Upon reaching home, Amos found the door unlocked, so he assumed that somebody’s home. “Son?” he asked as he entered. When Cedric didn’t answer, Amos called out for his boyfriend. “Babe? Have you dropped off Cedric with mum yet?”
