Dear Jeweled Journeyman,

Lord Jewelius the Strong, a member of the Gifted Guild, was created when energon radiation struck a precious diamond. Additionally, some consider the Rock Lords to be "Transformers", in a sense; Solitaire, the leader of the Jewel Lords, becomes a diamond, and there are timelines where the same is true of Sticks… much to the chagrin of Stones.
