It's the 1st, so v-pet rotating time. And for my non digimon, I'm finally running the Gigapet Pixie!

Gonna need to look up a little guide on this one, I started it way too late last night and it turned into something really ugly and refused to do anything, so I'm resetting. Animation and sound is fantastic though, no suprise since the T-Rex was amazing in that regard.

As for the digimon side of things, ol green is never going away. But since my DMX2 should arrive this month, I decided not to run anything new until it gets here, and will run a 2nd DM20 until it arrives.

I wasn't initially interested in the new school GigaPets, but this one was so cute I couldn't resist 😍 it's only sold on their website right now, but they shipped the same day I placed my order! I should be getting it by the weekend hopefully 💜

This came today.

I thought the Giga Pet T-Rex was going to be the only modern Giga Pet I was going to buy. I was only rlly interested in the Dino, and getting the vintage one I had as a kid, and maybe a Floppy Frog if I could get it at the right price.

But then I saw this. It was a little hyped up, first Giga Pet with a real evolution tree, I liked the character designs, especially the one that looks like Toad from Mario Bros. And the fact that it was sold out so quickly after release, and the only listing was for the collectors box on the giga pets website, I gave in to FOMO.

Gonna be a little while before I run this one. I wonder if Giga Pets has any projects for the future, not many virtual pet fans are talking about them even though they were big in the 90's and currently have pretty impressive animations.

Loving the gigapets pixie so far!! It’s a lot of fun. I love the stats + score aspect of it. I even made some potions to pick an evolution! Getting my score to 92 was genuinely enjoyable.

so i said I'm gonna make a post with the potion recipes but by now i found them in Ra's review video of the Pixie here

aside from that, my own Pixie has grown up for the first time

i'm still miffed that the screen goes blank after a while btw - would be worse tho if growth was determined by care instead of potions XD'

mhmmm not sure yet for which final evolution i'm gonna go.
