After reading your thoughts on cows and goats I'm now curious about what you think about llamas and alpacas.
i know everyone expects me to label llamas as evil, but they are not. They’re true NEUTRAL, and i will die on that hill. on their way to the shops, they will encounter a rag-tag group of farm animals in need of a tank. They will fill that role, in exchange for alfalfa pellets and spend the entire campaign talking about how they are only in it for the food and ONLY the food. but, when they have a chance to betray the party for greener pastures, they will turn it down.
they will eventually return from the shops with friends, having learned that friendship is the greatest treasure.
they will not, however, have the groceries.
alpacas are chaotic good. they will go to the shops, but take a long time getting back because they will have to solve every side-quest they see along the way. i also firmly believe they would urge the shop workers to form a union and start a strike along the way. alpacas are animals who brook absolutely no nonsense and WILL raise noise if you so much as THINK about displeasing them. they’re a good animal that i trust completely with a strike. everyone else just has to work around them.
they will return with the groceries eventually, but it takes long enough that you’ll go yourself. you’ll be pulled into the strike.
how could you not?
look at how charismatic they are
