Gig Young was the original voice of Charlie Townsend, but his alcoholism made his recorded lines unusable. He was replaced by John Forsythe and the rest is history. Sadly, Gig Young's demons got the best of him, and in 1978, he had a dark ending. Can you imagine this happening in the middle of the original Charlie's Angels run?!
