The costume was utilized again in the 1956 film 𝑴𝒆𝒆𝒕 𝑴𝒆 𝑰𝒏 𝑳𝒂𝒔 𝑽𝒆𝒈𝒂𝒔, where Cyd Charisse wore it as Maria Corvier. However, the gown has been altered, with the majority of the feather trim being removed and the skirt being shortened significantly.
