I think there needs to be an emotional support group for people who WENT to a mental hospital and endured MORE trauma on top of everything else... like... Why Does No One Normalize The Fact That Most Mental Hospitals Are Literally Traumatizing... like... where is that convo? HUH? Can we simply *talk* about how the U.S. 's mental health system literally just holds u for like a week and dehumanizes u and leaves u in a worse place than when u STARTED possibly with PTSD or more trauma... and then just LETS YOU GO... like... the fact that the risk of un-aliving yourself goes up the two weeks AFTER you leave the hospital says ENOUGH... like... hm.
