Wondering if anyone of your followers attend UC Davis. Curious how the disabled students centre is there. I'm attending this fall.

Socialising is so hard for me. It always has been with add. My only friend is my boyfriend, and it's not enough support. When I try and engage with others it doesn't work, and when I don't people think I don't care about them. Nothing ever works.

I'm so sorry you're feeling this way. I definitely understand!

I encourage you to keep trying to meet new people and make new friends. There is a section about this in the book What does everyone else know that I don't?, by Michele Novotni. See if you can get it from your local library and try some of the ideas there.

Think about how you relate to other people best. Do you do better in a group or one on one? If in a group, think of group activities that you could suggest to people. If one on one, see if someone would like to go for coffee sometime, just to chat. Following up on that can be difficult, but if you're able to make it happen you might be pleasantly surprised by the results. Remember that people might be busy, so don't assume that if you get turned down the first time that the person doesn't want to hang out with you. If you suggest a day and they are busy, ask them if there's a better day for them and see if that one works for you.

before i signed up for it i used to think 'it can't be as bad as ppl make it out to be,' but no, it's like even worse like no wonder these dudes are on the internet trying to score dates women they know irl won't touch them cos they're creeps

the 1st time i listened to it, i really didn't like it, but it def grew on me... their japanese stuff is usually hit or miss with me
