THE DOORS HISS OPEN, causing the woman to slowly turn and faced whoever it was who entered. her dress was long, causing the once quick on her feet to move slow and almost graceful. it was delicately and intricately embroidered. the dark-haired woman feared it may fall apart she should shift wrong.  this was all so new to nesota but she was going to come at it with her head held high. the queen of naboo had asked her to serve as senator ; she wanted someone who was strong, brave, and sharp-minded. who else but a varn could accomplish such matters?

“ m’lady, this is rey, the jedi her majesty requested you have, ”   one of her guardsman speak, stepping back so it was only the biege-clad woman within her eyesight. silence falls as she looks at her, face showing no expression. after a few seconds, her lips pull into a bright beaming smile.   “ rey, it is a pleasure to have you. please, come in. ”   head turns to the guard, offering them a nod before they vacated the room.

“ i thought it best we get to know one another, seeing as we will be spending so much time together, ”   voice is dripping in honey as slow movements carry her to the couch, sitting upon it.   “ i do hope you do not think of me as some of these politicians- stuck up and in their own interests. i can assure you, i am quite the opposite. ”

hi we don't write but i've seen you on my dash since we've become mutuals and i'm constantly in awe with your portrayal. you use the perfect verbiage in your descriptions, you really do have his voice down pat, and you capture the essence of both anakin's softness and angst perfectly. you're doing a 100/10 job writing him !! :)

        𝐈𝐓’𝐒 𝐁𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐓 && 𝐒𝐎𝐍𝐉𝐀 𝐖𝐎𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐑𝐒 𝐈𝐅 𝐒𝐇𝐄’𝐋𝐋 𝐁𝐄 𝐀𝐁𝐋𝐄 𝐓𝐎 𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐋𝐄 𝐈𝐓.       can she really do this?   can she leave her only child behind on some desert planet just to keep her from her father?    it’s been plaguing her mind for weeks ever since it was considered ,  a last resort at best.     sonja would never willingly leave rey ,  but now    𝚂𝙷𝙴 𝙷𝙰𝚂 𝙽𝙾 𝙲𝙷𝙾𝙸𝙲𝙴 !    mind races ,  hands grasping && grabbing at anything && everything she might be able to give rey without it begin connected back too , well ,  anything related to her true self.      ;          frantic state calms ,  a deep breath taken in as sonja turns round to peer at her daughter who looks confused, saddened ,  &&  desperate.   shaky breath is taken in as she knees in front of rey ,  a smile presses painfully against her lips in an attempt to assure the little girl in front of her.    hands grasp either of her upper arms gently ,    ❝   i know , ❞   begins the mother ,     ❝   mommy doesn’t want to leave you either ,  but . . sometimes grown ups have to do things we don’t want too , baby.  ❞     it was hard to explain ,  how sonja wishes she didn’t have to do this at all.     finger tips brush loose strands of hair out of her face ,   ❝   i’m gonna tell you something , alright?  can you really listen to mommy , rey? ‘  brow arches , painful smile widening when she nods.     ❝    i want you to always   𝖗𝖊𝖒𝖊𝖒𝖇𝖊𝖗   that me && daddy . . me && daddy love you , we’ve always loved you.  you were the best-the best part of our life . .   ❞   && we might not ever see you again , but she’d be damned if she didn’t try when all of this was said n done.  if she lives through it.      ❝   we have to leave you here , on jakku , to keep you safe ,  but . .    ❞    rey is brought into sonja’s arms , she’s held tight while a tear slips from sonja’s eye.           𝙎𝙃𝙀 𝘾𝘼𝙉'𝙏 𝙇𝙀𝙏 𝙍𝙀𝙔 𝙎𝙀𝙀.

          you had   promised   yourself once ,   as a young man who had watched his entire  life  burn to the ground   --   your fault your fault your fault   --   that the past would die alongside the young benjamin organa .   it would be easier that way ,   it would be   better   that way .   if ben were to  ‘ die ‘  at the hands of people he considered peers ,   it would surely be easier than the truth   ;   that ben was a coward ,   that ben ran away ,   that it never would have happened if ben had simply   controlled   himself better .   if he had not lost himself ,   lives could have been saved ,   hearts could have been spared ,   ben’s poor family would not have mourned the loss of that little boy who wanted to make them all proud .   so it is better this way ,   that ben dies when he is   young   and free of the guilt .           of course ,   this does not mean the past will not catch up to you .   you are a descendant of skywalker ,   of course ,   when will the galaxy see fit to let you just rest ?   so you smuggle goods to the resistance ,   and never once accept payment ,   and you’re damn good at it too .   this does not mean you are   itching   to join their ranks ,   and for good cause ! your mother has thought you dead for too long ,   and even if you wanted to come back ,   the damage has already been done .   and you’ve heard all about this scavenger ,   the last hope of the jedi ,   about her power ,   and your instincts are already screaming at you to   get away .     “   look ,   i’m not interested in joining your ranks just because i smuggle to you for free .   i don’t do that .   you can either take the stuff or leave it .   “
