That guy's lying his ass off. Yes, he is. When you're lying, it's hard to tell a story backwards…because there's no real memory of what happened. Liars rehearse their stories in order. They don't think to rehearse them backwards.

Lie to Me is criminally underrated and I need everyone to start talking about it more, please and thank you. Easily one of my favorite shows ever

I just need to know if any of you remember the show Lie to Me, because I haven't been able to stop thinking about it since like 2010 and I will never ever be over its untimely cancellation and the fact that we never got at least one last season or even a movie to wrap it up...in my head, these two live happily ever after.

I mean, look at them. Look at him looking at her. They are the textbook definition of a grumpy/sunshine couple, they love each other so much (he admitted it but not to her), and they are perfect. They deserved closure. Not to mention the rest of the cast was freaking stacked, they had Jennifer Beals, they had Mekhi Phifer, Marc Blucas, Felicia Day, Melissa George, Max Martini...it was a gem. The shiniest and prettiest and most rare of gems. I will miss it forever.

procedural pairs that parallel each other that i just thought of: dr. cal lightman and dr. gillian foster in lie to me and sherlock holmes and dr. joan watson in elementary. one half is a grumpy brit who is rough around the edges and comes across as an asshole, but is seen that way because he has reckless methods and doesn't put up with bullshit, least of all from authority figures (and has a knack for solving mysteries and spotting liars). the other is a cool american doctor who balances out their other half, matching wits with them but also doesn't put up with their shit, calling them out when necessary while still having their back (and are experts in their respective fields).

I'm literally only on episode 4 of Lie to Me and if Gillian Foster and Dr. Lightman aren't in love by the end. I'm going to go insane. That pining look at the end of the episode? you can't convince me he's not sad watching her walk away to her lying husband
