It's Sunday and I'm always looking forward to this day because it's the beginning of #playingmyfuckinggames day! Tonite will honestly will more than likely boring. I've been lacking in Shining force, in fact haven't been able to touch it since last tuesday, so I'm gonna be doing a lot of grinding, in fact, it'll probably be mostly grinding. Regardless if you wanna drop by and start a conversation, please do! I'd love to have some company while I do the most monotonous and relentless part of RPGs! But first some food! If you were wondering what it is...I'm not sure! I had some pork belly in the freezer, Bok Choy, Miso and Mushrooms on the fridge and Crappy "organic noodles", nori and Dashi in the drawer, so I just bought some scallions, bamboo shoots and bean sprouts to make me a comfy soup! I'll play when I've destroyed this bowl!🤤🤤🤤🤤😍👻 #gimplaire #shiningforce #ramen #segagenesisjunkies #sega #segagenesis #genesisdoes

To everyone that were there for the live gaming sesh, thanks a bunch! It's always awesome to have people there, not just to come and see me do horrible when playing games, but to get involved and get into the conversation and how we can move into different gaming topics and share so many opinions, it's so awesome! It feels like you fellas are sitting next to me playing games with me. For now, my week is over and I pass the baton to @pureprinny who will be your host for the rest of the week! Have a good night peeps and take care! See y'all sunday! 😎 #gimplaire #playingmyfuckinggames #pmfg #segagenesisjunkies
Someone asked me for a SHA-ining Force night! So, here it is! #Shiningforcesunday #shiningforce #sega #segagenesisjunkies #segagenesis #segamegadrive #gimplaire #playingmyfuckinggames
Last Night's Tijuana Oddysey, led me to this. As much as I love the city, I will admit being a bit fearful to make the trip. First of all, because Tijuana has grown at an incredible rate. I used to live in the South east Area of Tijuana, which is now the center, since population has spread towards every corner of the city. Second, I was afraid it'd be a prank and then having to wait hours in line to cross back. Anyway, if you're not familiar with this piece, it's Called: The Mega Disk! I know little about it. I've read that it was apparently developed and produced in Taiwan, where it sold a few pieces before trying luck in other Sega Mega Drive Prevalent Countries like Italy, Portugal and Brazil. It's purpose is to Rip files from Cartridges for Back-up Copies of a Game in floppy disk format, so long as it's 8MB of ram or less, though some have said making copies of 8MB+ ram games using a second disk is doable. Sadly, I don't have the operating program Disk to start the machine, so I won't be able to use it and show you how it works. I've not seen these in NA, but if anyone has one and would be willing to make me a copy of that floppy, Please DM me and maybe we can figure something out. As for this format, deducing it wasn't adopted by Sega due to fear of piracy, I think it had potential and I'll tell you why. Growing up I met many kids, but few had a console, therefore, most of them saw those of us who did, with envy. By using cheaper hardware for a more affordable price, The Sega Mega Disk would have been a great Alternative for many Latin American homes, a great way for Sega to get into that Market and to make many Kids Happy. An exclusive "Sega Center" at a Something like a Wal-Mart, where Parents could Purchase Sega Floppys (with a lock device to avoid piracy as long as possible) of Both Mega Drive and SMS would have been an excellent Idea. Floppys were cheap, it had been done by Nintendo before, and I think that in that type of market with low resources, it would have been a Hit, so long as prices were kept low and accessible which is easier said than done. #segagenesisjunkies #gimplaire #sega #segamegadrive #segamegadisk #genesisdoes #blastprocessing
To the soundtrack of Mega Turrican, here I go...*clears throat*...Cause FUCK hoarding, FUCK Shelving and FUCK Sealed Games! If you've been following me for a while, then you are most definitely aware that, I don't believe that's what the hobby is about. There's those that are apparently now making a sorta segregational line on the matter. We apparently aren't just gamers that own video games anymore. Now there's a difference between Collectors (which is the title that hoarders and shelfers hide under) and Gamers (People that...smh...Collect, to play! Which is what I thought a collector was to begin with!). I advocate to the Idea that once you purchase an Item, you are in your proper right, to do whatever the fuck you want with it, Cool? Cool! Doesn't mean I support or agree with anyone if the choice was to shelf, leave it sealed or hoard multiple copies of one game! As a kid, I thought many things that I see now are not so easy to do, like: "what if instead of wars, they would just play a match of a certain sport and the victor wins the war?" Now I know it's something unlikely to happen. But as I open up this package that apparently I received from the netherworld, I want to and will hang on to my Kid and Teenage Idea that games are to be played! I can understand maybe keeping ONE Sealed copy of a game that just means so much to one and keep it as a memento and have another one to play with, even I tried that once and guess what? I opened my other sealed copy of Arc the Lad cause as a gamer, I decided to give my open copy to a HS passioante RPG gamer friend who graduated as a going away gift because that's what gamers do! We play our games! This is the philosophy I go by when it comes to Game Collecting, the one I will Stick By in the most integral and dignifying manner and as always, you will know and witness how I practice what I preach by #playingmyfuckinggames and hopefully everyone can do it as well! I know the majority already do! 🐻🥓🥓🥓🥓🥓🥓 #segagenesisjunkies #gimplaire #pmfg
