I don't agree with a lot of things said by militant social activists, or Tumblr variety sjw types. But that doesn't mean I don't understand why they feel that way, or respect their right to say the things they do and feel the way they do. Do they need me to approve their existence? Of course not. Does it mean I don't get unbelievably upset at some of the things they say? Of course not.
What it does mean is that I don't think hate toward anyone is okay at all. It makes me sad that they feel so much hatred or irritation or whatever toward certain groups, but that doesn't mean I will turn around and push hatred at them.
As much as I love tumblr, it makes me sad sometimes. I wish we could all get along, but I know that's not the way the world works, and there's only so much I can do about it.
