My creative side! Literally all my creative hobbies are suffering and I don’t think I’m GREAT at any of them (except maybe writing, occasionally I do manage to write something I’d call “great” but it surprises me when I do xD And most of the time I still see it as just “good”), but I am good enough that people seem to enjoy what I make (whether it’s a story I wrote, doing chalk art at work, coming up with a gijinka cosplay, etc) and making people happy with things I can make is the absolute best feeling! <3

virgo: what's your #1 pet peeve? 

When people are condescending Dx Like if you disagree with someone and think what they’re saying is wrong or that you’re smarter than them, there ARE polite and constructive ways to express it (and WOW maybe the other person actually has a good point too or might be really interested in what you want to say if you respect them and listen to them!), but so many people just get condescending and talk down to others and it makes me so mad. Especially because it happens a lot in retail =/ I can handle a customer getting mad and yelling and forget all about them later, but when they talk down at me it needles at me for DAYS sometimes.

pluto: what's the biggest thing you've learned by far in your life? 

This is a hard one because I feel like I’ve learned a lot of useful things or morals but none stand out as the biggest #1 thing? This is stereotypical of a life lesson I guess but “keep an open mind” could count? I think that’s a really important thing to learn because like I said in the answer above, so many people just decide they’re right and everyone else is stupid, and doing that just closes yourself off from new ideas and is hurtful to everyone else around you. But if you keep your mind open and are willing to see multiple sides to issues/situations, you can learn a lot more and also help others more! So I’m really happy that’s something I’ve learned =3

2nd house: if you could only keep one of your personal items, what would you choose?

Omg I’m too materialistic to answer this question, I love all my stuff too much xDD So I’m going to take the easy answer and say my computer because it has all my writing and photos on it and I would be devastated to lose that.

For the writing meme! 1, 3, 6, and 19!

1) is there a story you’re holding off on writing for some reason? 

You mean other than every single story I’m supposed to be working on haha ha ^^;;;; I suppose the story I’m calling Prism (for lack of a better name atm - it was my 2014 NaNoWriMo iirc) falls under this category because I actually do intend to write it, I’ve just been trying to focus on the series that I want to pitch so I’ve basically ignored Prism. It needs some major reworking which I don’t mind doing, I enjoy re-sculpting old drafts and making them better, but it also needs a loooot of worldbuilding which I SUCK at so I’m going to avoid it as long as possible xD;;

3) what order do you write in? front of book to back? chronological? favorite scenes first? something else? 

I tryyyyyy to do front to back for the first draft at least. When I go back to edit I also try to go in chapter order, but I’ll go out of order sometimes as I add scenes to flesh things out or go back to add something I forgot.

The exception here is when I’m doing a one-shot like for a birthday gift fic, which what I’ll do then is write a couple lines describing each ‘chapter’ so I can remember the plot, and then I write scenes I have in mind the most first and will build up from there. x3

6) something you would go back and change in your writing that it’s too late/complicated to change now 

Luckily I haven’t pulled the trigger on any of my novels yet to a point where I can’t edit them xD I can be lazy so there were things in the original draft that I wasn’t going to change for the current draft, but my writing group is luckily not afraid to go hard and be like “this needs to be fixed” instead of letting it go.

19) when it comes to more complicated narratives, how do you keep track of outlines, characters, development, timeline, ect.?

I have a separate file of notes! =3 I don’t have the attention span to do a full-on outline, but for example in the Eden series I have a document with a list of the characters and their family members and friends, and a calendar of dates so I know when certain things happened and can describe the time frames. I also have a couple paragraphs of synopsis of each book so I have the basic plot overview.

For the fandom meme, Yugioh Zexal!

The first character I first fell in love with:Astral! I love non-human characters trying to understand humans/the human world as it is, plus his design is super pretty x3 And once they got into the plot and his backstory I loved him even more~

The character I never expected to love as much as I do now:Shark tbh! He was very much a Manjyome-type character where I didn’t really like him that much at first, but once they got into his background and his character he was really great and had a lot of character development!The character everyone else loves that I don’t:I’m going with Rei/Vector. I know he’s like a walking meme and a lot of fans love him, but I can’t get past what a douche he was and how he betrayed Yuuma and tricked Yuuma into betraying Astral, which ended up breaking both of them =( I also didn’t like Kaito that much because I’m shallow and thought his design looked bad xD;;;The character I love that everyone else hates:I’m not sure! Is there anyone that people really hate?? It’s been 5ever since I was in-depth with the fandom but I don’t actually remember seeing much character hate =OThe character I used to love but don’t any longer:None again! I still love all my babbies =‘DThe character I would totally smooch:I may or may not have had a lowkey crush on Akari SHE’S SO COOL SHE RIDES A MOTORCYCLEThe character I’d want to be like:I would like very much to have Chris/V’s mane tbh. Personality wise I guess Yuuma? He’s so positive and passionate and not afraid to go after goals, and that’s a good person to be like! I also want to be like Akari I want to be cool and ride a motorcycleThe character I’d slap:REI/VECTORA pairing that I love:Keyshipping!!! It’s basically puzzleshipping but somehow even more canon??? And it’s so pure and good? What is there not to love about that?!

For the headcanon meme-- Rin Hoshizora and 1, 5, 17, 33, and 39!

1. Love

Rin has pretty much been in love with Hanayo since the day they met. Being naturally demonstrative and rambunctious she never thought anything of showing her friendship with hugs and cuddles and even kisses. Then, of course, when they became idols yuribait is sort of encouraged so she was more than happy to be able to continue to hug and smish Hanayo and see their fans cheer for them!! However once they were in college and no longer had to obey the “no dating” idol rules Rin got sort of confused. She wanted to date, but could never think of anyone she’d rather spend time with than Hanayo. She couldn’t figure out where the line between “romantic partner” and “whatever Hanayo is to me” was drawn, because the fact was she had been in love with Hanayo so long, she never realized that’s what it was. Eventually it’s Hanayo who asks her if they can date and be more than friends and everything clicks.

5. Crying

Rin hates anyone seeing her cry and she’ll do anything to hide it. Partly because it hurts her so much to see Hanayo sad and can’t imagine letting anyone feel that way about her. Plus her idol persona is supposed to be bubbly and nya~ and energetic!! A few tears of happiness are okay, but she’ll find an excuse to run away and hide when she feels like she’ll cry for real. Eventually her friends figure it out though and all work together to respect her space, but make sure that they raise her spirits and help her work through whatever it is when she’s ready. (Hanayo, of course, is the only one who knows all her hiding places and is able to get her talk when she’s upset)

17. Scars

Being naturally sporty, Rin has quite a few scars from sports accidents and crashing her bike and falling down rollerskating and such. As an idol she uses make-up and things like gloves and nude tights and accessories to hide them, feeling kind of sad that she’ll never have naturally perfect skin. Then one day a gossip mag gets a picture of her with scars visible and she’s embarrassed, until she starts getting fans mailing her and coming up to her at meet-and-greets after lives to tell her they feel better about their own scars because of seeing that she has them too!

33. Safe

Rin knows she’s lucky in that her friends and family all supported her and Hanayo. Unfortunately, the world isn’t always kind of people who are LGBTA. I (thanks to the fanfic you wrote me <3) imagine Rin becoming a PE teacher and working at a school for more troubled students, teaching them to use both sports and singing to deal with their problems constructively. She eventually becomes known as the teacher you can talk to about anything, and has several students who talk to her about their sexuality or being trans and how their friends or family don’t support them. More than once, she and Hanayo have let students borrow their spare room for a night when they didn’t feel safe at home, or helped direct them to counselors and groups that can help them. Some of her former students have contacted her years later to thank her for saving their lives when they felt alone.

39. Secret

Most of these answers have been serious so here’s a happy one: Rin is soooo bad at keeping secrets, especially happy ones. She just wants to shout out what she knows and share the happy news!! So when she decides to propose to Hanayo, she’s a total wreck and treats the buying of the rings and planning the proposal like a covert spy mission and is super jittery and giggly. She actually does manage to keep the secret though, because that’s how important surprising Hanayo is to her!

Omg nonono don’t feel bad!! I don’t mind deep questions really and I liked all the ones you asked because they were interesting!! I was just acknowledging that I should give deep answers because I knew I was gonna go for more jokey/shallow (aka realistic for me xD) answers and I wanted to seem like not 100% trash xD;;; I’m sorry if I seemed like I was awk about it, I really didn’t mind them, please don’t feel bad!! *clings*
