Shou-nyan vs mikku.

"I am the better cat I’ll let you know," Shoutarou hisses, ears folding back against his head and tail swishing in irritation. "I don’t care if you used to turn into some monster I’m still the better one. I can talk and walk and not need a memory to do it." In all honesty, Shoutarou knows this looks ridiculous. He knows it sounds ridiculous. After all, a cat man and an actual cat squaring off over who is superior?

Obviously, it’s Shoutarou.

Mikku showed no interest, however. He just gives Shoutarou one flat stare, ear twitching, before going back to sleep. Shoutarou is incensed, huffing, and crosses his arms. His paw taps on one sleeve, his nose twitching some, and he glares. Two can play it that way, Mikku. Shoutarou will definitely show—

Shoutarou suddenly flops down on his desk, purr rumbling up from his throat, and trying to press his head into the hand scritching behind his ear. ”Fights between cats never end well, Shoutarou,” Philip says, “especially when one has luck like your own.”

"Wassat s’pposed t’ mean," Shoutarou slurs, words getting jumbled in the loud purr coming from his throat.

"Mikku would win, obviously," Shoutarou’s ears perk up at that and the ragdoll gives Philip a betrayed look.

"I’m obviously the better—"

"But in terms of who I like better," Philip doesn’t finish, just gives Shoutarou a look. Shoutarou goes back to being a rather floppy mess of cat, paws spreading out before clenching back into a fist. He can deal with that. Obviously he’s won, if that’s the case.

Mikku finally decides to give Shoutarou a proper look, noticing that his owner is lavishing attention on the wrong cat Shoutarou isn’t even a proper cat. Shoutarou refrains from laughing out loud at Mikku, his purring getting louder.
