#Ginger_Rogers rehearses with #Hermes_Pan, Fred Astaire’s #choreographic collaborator, 1935. #Astaire and Pan worked out the steps for a number, then Pan would teach and rehearse the steps with Rogers prior to Astaire and Rogers rehearsing together. Astaire called Hermes Pan his “idea man”. They worked together on all of the RKO Fred and Ginger musicals. Pan also recorded Rogers’ taps in post-production. (Ginger Rogers was a big and busy star in the Thirties and #RKO worked her hard. She had limited time for rehearsing and post-production.)
