I imagine if we're sticking with the idea of windclan leafpool, she looks a lot more like Onewhisker so it was easy to lie about her parentage without anyone thinking the sire could be the Thunderclan leader but maybe with Darkkit instead of black patterns it's more ginger so he looks a lot more like Firestar?
Which could maybe lead to Onewhisker giving Darktail away as a kit? And that you know gives Darktail his daddy issues
