((howdy, it’s been……a long while, lol

i’ve been meaning to update this blog but just not really knowing how to make a comeback post, or just putting it off for another time and suddenly like…..nearly a year has passed between this and the last post. oops.))

((so where have i been?

well, the short answer is…..nowhere, really. i’ve been regularly posting/reblogging stuff on my main blog but, well, to put it bluntly, 2018 wasn’t that great for me, as i’m sure a number of people would say the same lmao

a little list of stuff that happened to me in 2018:

my pc broke down due to an os corruption, and it took 2 months to replace

i got into a relationship. i was very happy! it was my first time being in a relationship in 7 years, and i finally felt good about myself

3 months later, literally to the  d a y , my heart was broken. my boyfriend literally broke up with me on our 3 month-iversary. lmao.

i spent the next couple months being in a horrible depression. i had horrific anxiety. genuine suicidal thoughts for the first time in like 10 years. i ate very little, because i just couldn’t, losing nearly 10 pounds over the course of a week and a half (which isn’t healthy, if you couldn’t tell, lol). it was such a rapid change that i genuinely had trouble recognizing myself in the mirror. it took me 3 weeks to get my appetite back

the next couple months were spent mostly recovering. my ex hasn’t talked to me since nearly the end of last september, despite saying he wanted to remain friends. whatever, lol.

one of my cats passed away in mid-november, which sucked, but she was old and i believe she was dying of liver or kidney failure, so it’s good she’s not suffering anymore. she’s buried next to our other cat who died around the same time the year before. now it’s just my little tiny 12 pound chunker that we’ve got left lmao (my mom sometimes talks about kittens she’s seen on websites for local shelters tho so…hmmmm…..)

i’m doing better though. i had a load of icon commissions i did for people on steam recently! literally, all of those commissions i did in the past few weeks have been more than what i did in all of 2018. and i’m grateful for that! it’s partially because i made friends with a small-ish tf2 youtuber who commissioned me for an icon/art for his youtube banner hehehe

that’s about it. 2018 was just sucky, to put it shortly lmfao. both in general, but stuff that was specific to me as well. but anyway, thanks for listening to me rant about stupid stuff that happened last year. hopefully i can get back to this blog on occasion, i enjoyed it when i was active with it haha))

Oh thank god your doing better 🧡 I can understand the 2018 horror year as I had a bad year too, but I hope your well again soon Xx I deleted my old blog and moved to this one so if I’m not recognisable I understand why, missed you lots like I have with a few other blogs, some come back and some don’t, I’m glad your still there though, but sending you and snipes all the best of luck and love 🧡 and thank you :’)

((thank you!! but yeah, it seems 2018 was just not good for most people lmao, not to mention it seeming to last an eternity. some of that stuff on my list i had to think about like, “did that actually happen in 2018, or was that 2017???”

but i’m pretty sure i recognize you! you used to be gingersoulsby, i believe, right? (the “ginger” part of your url is the most telling, if i’m correct lmao) i still remember a lot of the people who frequently sent asks, or liked/reblogged my posts :)

i’ll try to be a little more active from now on, even if it means only answering sniper asks a few times a week!))
