Iced green tea that smells great and is good for you. It has the sour kick of ginger, the cool freshness of mint, and the subtle sweetness of honey.
Ingredients: 4 cups water. 4 green tea bags. 2 tablespoons honey. 1-inch fresh ginger, thinly sliced. 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves, plus extra for garnish. Ice cubes.
Instructions: Bring water to a boil in a saucepan. Take it off the heat and add the tea bags. For five minutes, let it steep. Take out the tea bags and mix in the honey until it's all mixed in. Put in lemon slices and mint leaves. Wait until the mixture is cool enough to touch. Pour the mixture through a strainer into a pitcher. Chill the pitcher in the fridge. When you're ready to serve, put ice cubes in each glass and pour the cold tea over them. Top with mint leaves.
