Thranduil, King of the Woodland Realm.

How I originally envisioned Thranduil from The Hobbit. In the book it describes how he dresses in the autumn, which is when the book takes place, and then mentions him wearing a flower crown in the spring. Makes me want to draw this shrewd elf king wearing happy daisies on his head. Painted this for a character design challenge over on facebook https://www.facebook.com/groups/CharacterDesignChallenge.

First day of MerMay! Let’s see if I can manage to draw a mermaid every day this month. Our first one is a little Princess Polly.

Here’s a doodle I’ve dedicated some time to off and on over the past few months. She’s a little scrunched in my sketchbook, but I’ve decided I’m going to turn her into a painting and see how it turns out, when I fix the design a bit.

I created a Patreon account for both Feak Police AND Realms and Remedies, so fans of either one will get to see these projects progress more than they have anywhere else online. Of course Freak Police will always be free to read, but I'll post sketches early on, and make videos about my art process, both digital and traditional. 

I've really struggled to make time for my creative endeavors, and so I hope to be able to turn those projects into a source of income so they can become my first priority. I would appreciate your help oh so much! Heck, I appreciate you no matter what, because I'm so happy you come and look at my art and silly characters. You're all really so awesome!

Oh, and I'll post a little thank you song every month. You don't have to watch it, ha. I'm so awkward.

I usually miss the bandwagon for these kinds of things, but not this time! It took an embarrassing amount of time to decide which pictures to put on here. I needed at least 8 more squares to get most of the faces I wanted to include. My mother narrowed them down for me, LOL! She’s an artist, so she knows. XD
