Momofuku Ramen Ginger Scallion Noodles
Following up with my Momofuku Ramen review, I have the Ginger Scallion Noodles that we tried. Certainly a twist on Ramen but I have a feeling that I'll be eating more of this ramen come Summer time!
Ginger Scallion Noodles are cold, meatless and without broth so it leaves for a lighter review on the noodles and toppings:
The Noodles: Similar to the Momofuku Ramen, the noodles were done to perfection. i really enjoyed them cold as they provided a contrast of taste to the hot ramen we were eating
The Toppings: These are the main attraction for this dish. Pickled shiitakes, cucumber, and cabbage round out the vegetarian dish and the sauce they use on top is fantastic. It reminded me of eating somen salad growing up at my grandmas house, except a lot more refined and artistic. The bowl is quite small but packs a punch-those noodles are so filling!
The Price: Since it's vegetarian, it's a bit less than the other Ramen's so I think around $12-14?
I would definitely recommend this bowl as an alternative in the summertime. Similar to the Momofuku Ramen i give this one a 8.5/10!
