Finally after years! She’s done!
Gingerstar (Korean: 스타 쿠키, seuta kuki, Star Cookie) is a Special Cookie. She is of the Ambush and her position is prioritized to the Front.
She was a Cookie created by the Wizards in an attempt to create a Cookie with both normal Cookie dough and celestial ones by a Wizard. The other Wizards cast her aside and threw her away into the Cookie world for being a failed attempt.
She can only be acquired from the Pavilion of Promise.
Game Description:
Flour, butter, brown sugar and ginger itself and there! A perfect a perfect Cookie? Oh wait? Seems that we have a new ingredient added? Ah yes, stardust powder. Created as a test, Gingerstar was the fruit of all that hard work put into one Cookie, a Cookie who was unfortunately casted aside, The Wizard who had created her showed their colleagues their creation only to be shamed and looked down upon. She was not strong as other Celestial Cookies, for mortality was truer. But that didn’t stop Gingerstar from seeking answers of her past and the secrets of the Wizards, she will never give up. If she can’t be useful to the Wizards, then beat it. She’ll find her own path.
Soulstone Description:
This stone holds a piece of Gingerstar’s soul. It shines brightly with determination, a sense to move forward.
(Gingerstar’s Soulstones can be acquired in the Pavilion of Promise)
Skill: Star Cross
Gingerstar hops on her Magic Star and soars through the sky, summoning shooting stars and landing it on the enemies, dealing damage and increasing crit for team, when using her skill, she is not affected by Atk Speed changes. One she’s finished with her attack, she jumps off her Magic Star and sends it to the enemies, dealing explosive damage, and additional damage.
Appearance:
Gingerstar is a somewhat short slightly wide Cookie with thistle purple dough, a curly swoop of misty blue hair, two sides of her head having side hairs and a two ahoge on her head, a bigger and smaller one. Her hair is sprinkled with light yellow, cyan, and pink star candy. She has round blossom pink eyes and smile. She wears a baby blue shawl with a pink star candy brooch in the middle, space cadet blue head scarf that covers most of her hair with two ribbons sticking out. She wears gold bands around her arms and legs, has two cyan star candy on either side of her head and cyan diamond buttons on her torso.
Personality
Gingerstar is a go getter, people pleaser with an excitement for adventures. Despite her past, she is trusting towards other Cookies but do not mistake her trusting persona for naivety, she knows well who and who cannot be trusted. She loves her friends and is very adamant about showing it. She is intelligent and quick witted and finds short cuts around obstacles.
She is cheerful and could be overconfident, making light out of situations. She’s impulsive, acting on the moment which mostly leads her in predicaments and situations, even not meaning to, which can lead her to underestimating certain opponents or obstacles.
Deep down, Gingerstar was an inferiority complex. Being cast away by the Wizards for being a failed experiment, she had this need to feel useful to other Cookies. Her cheerful, impulsive persona is a facade to hide her deeper insecurities. She tends to think she is useless due to the fact she is not as strong as the other celestial Cookies are, that in the end of the day, she’s just a mortal. She would pass and her cousins, siblings, whatever else the wizards had created would eventually forget. She cannot control her powers well either, thankfully not have hurting anyone but she had hurt herself. So much celestial energy inside a mortal Cookie can do so much more damage to the Cookie than the wizards believed.
Relationship to Moonlight Cookie
Both are strained. Gingerstar and her were made from the that same ingredient of stardust. Moonlight Cookie was given moonlight power in her dough while half of Gingerstar’s dough was starlight. Moonlight had not known she had a half sister, well, in a way, they cast Gingerstar aside before she can ever get to know about her.
Gingerstar, has complex feeling about Moonlight, on one hand, she looks up to her, and thinks Moonlight’s the most wisest Cookie she even known. On the other, she feels this sense of envy and want. Moonlight got a childhood, raised by the Great Sage, was loved. Had someone to teach her everything about the sky, the world. Had someone to give her that knowledge. To live in that ignorant bliss. As for Gingerstar? She was orphaned. Cast away, because she didn’t exactly fit the liking of the Wizards, because she was a failed experiment. That envy seems to overpower any other feelings see has. It’s the want to be like her.
Relationship to Stardust Cookie
Extremely close and tight-knit. Stardust was actually the one who found her. She was four years old, very young. I guess in a way, he’s considered a teenager around the time he found her. Both found it easy to connect, both faced heartless abandonment by the witches, both were born from imperfect dough, both have an understanding of the cosmos. She holds Stardust in high regards, she doesn’t understand why the witches discarded him. Yeah. She can understand herself, but him? Why him? He was incredible!
She was the one mostly instilling that sense of understanding of Earthbread in her older half brother. He had only stayed in Earthbread for her when he first met her. After she started venturing on her own, he left. If there’s one star he has to call his own, it’s her. She was a stepping stone for him learning how to form bonds either others.
Though, her confidence is well, intriguing. Stardust does tend to worry a lot about how overconfident she can be and the situations lead her to MANY issues.
Relationship to Gingerbrave
Based off the Morning Star and the Eveningstar. He may not be a celestial but DOES HE SHINE! She never met a Cookie with such bravery. She’s absolutely adores him. Whatever he goes, she’s follows. The two bond over their love for adventures and their go getter, people pleaser personalities. Unfortunately, the only drawback is Gingerstar’s arrogance and impulsiveness.
Gingerbrave tends to think before he acts or speaks and try to find different solutions to a problem than downright jumping into the situation immediately. Gingerstar, of course, doesn’t and thinks she’s has all the answers all the time. Eventually Gingerbrave is not unafraid of being quite direct and honest when upset and after one time she gets them in quite a predicament, he absolutely admonishes her for her impulsive and arrogant behavior.
It’s because of Gingerbrave, Gingerstar finally accepts her faults and with humility, realizes that she truly does care about how the wizards thought of her and her arrogance and impulsiveness was her response to it, to prove the wizards that’s she not worthless but also to mask her huge inferiority complex. With the help of Gingerbrave, she knows there are other Cookies that would like her for her, acknowledging the true meaning of teamwork, friendship and responsibility and was willing to sacrifice herself in the end (she doesn’t die).
