Time for Lunch
Lunch is one of my favorite meals. Lunch tends to be overshadowed by brunch and dinner. Brunch elicits thoughts of lazy weekends and meeting friends for outdoor dining. Dinner can be grand or simple and marks the end of the work day and precedes an evening of leisure. Lunch can seem so banal by comparison. I decided, since I am sheltering at home, to make lunch a little more special. Above is a picture of my lunch tray ready to be carried out to the garden. The silver tray is a recent Ebay purchase. The vintage blue and white dishes are Beacon Hill. The gingham tablecloth is from HSN. It's one of my first purchase from HSN and I am very happy with it. I can launder it at home and it comes out of the dryer near wrinkle free. The flowers are from my garden.
