It had been a while since she had gotten to hang out with Archie. After the arguments with Noah, the rendezvous with Emma and trying to figure out how to tell Emily about said rendezvous, she really needed a moment with someone who didn't know about the complications in her life. Someone who was just her friend, who didn't know and didn't need to know about how truly bad of a person she felt sometimes. Archie was that kind of guy -- they bonded over music and film and that's all that was really necessary for their friendship. She had asked him to meet her by the bleachers after school ( and whatever practice he had that day ) so they could just walk around, scouting out locations for the music video he wanted to make soon. She figured it would be a good excuse as any to just catch up and see what's happening in his life.
"So, did'ja get hitched in Vegas, partyboy?" She asked, a smirk playing at her lips when she saw him approaching. She was leaning against the bleachers but stepped off, walking towards him. Everyone had heard about the Vegas trip; how the boys randomly disappeared out of nowhere. She had heard it through the grapevine, mostly.

Boundaries. While, Brooke knew her father, the Mayor, had some of his own, he rarely ever respected hers. Unless, he was away on business in which case, she was left to fend for herself and operate however she pleased.
There were a few things, you just didn’t mess with when it came to the spoiled, rich heiress of Riverwood. One of those top things being; her beauty sleep.
Outside her window, Brooke could hear men grunting and yelling. There were drills and saws and all sorts of tools being clanked together. The ruckus was loud. But even worse, super annoying. Angered, Brooke, rolled out of bed and tied her silk robe around her tiny waist before barrelling down the steps. She was ready to tell every last person outside to fuck off when Quinn stopped her. “Daddy, what the hell?!” She shrieked. Construction workers were tearing apart their guest house and remodeling it from the ground up. Brooke had no idea this was even happening. Her father didn’t warn her.
“Andrews Construction is here to do some remodeling. I wouldn’t walk out there. Especially barefoot. There’s nails and wood everywhere. I was going to tell you about it before I left.”
Brooke shook her head, screaming ‘no, no, no’ repeatedly. This couldn’t be happening. She was throwing a small rager tonight! While her dad was away. And how was she supposed to have people over when their backyard looked like someone had bulldozed right over it? The pool wasn’t even swimmable. It was covered with a sheet and dirty debris. “Dad, you said the girls could come over while you were away. How are we supposed to have a slumber party when the guest house is gone?!” Brooke wasn’t mad. She was FURIOUS! He promised her!
“Maybe you can postpone it? You’ll think of something. I gotta go, kitten. I’m going to be late.” With a kiss to her forehead, Quinn grabbed his briefcase and disappeared. Meanwhile, Brooke looked around and glowered at the mess. And then at the redheaded boy staring back at her. Brooke, still fired up, walked over to him. “Don’t I know you from somewhere?”

From the looks of it, Archie looked precisely how Veronica felt; exhausted, hungover and a wee bit out of place. Since the moment they got back from their camping trip (which Ronnie thought was amazing by the way), they haven’t done much talking. Between Veronica’s detour getaway with Tyler to New York and Noel Kahn’s party, there hasn’t been much time either. Ronnie wasn’t sure what to make of Archie, let alone anyone else in her life at the moment. Too much had happened that the lines were all a blur. “Relax Archiekins,” Ronnie chuckled as she plopped down on the sofa beside him in the student lounge. “It’s just me. You working on a new song? One that is hopefully, inspired by moi.” Veronica gestured to Archie’s guitar resting solely in his lap and playfully touched her heart with an equally playful smile.

After selling his father’s Mercedes-Benz 300 SL for Vegas money, Jake visited Tyler on the Southside, picked up Caleb while there, and then grabbed Archie on their way to the airport. Jake wasn’t in a very good mood after talking with Tyler but he shook it off – or at least tried to. When their plane descended into Sin City, Jake had a limo waiting for them, full of alcohol. “All right. Seven amigos, one fiesta. Let’s Shake n Jake.” Celebrated the jock with a clap of his hands before crawling into the stretch limo. Their luggage was being shipped to the Bellagio and brought to their room by staff. Everything was in place. Jake was nothing if not thorough when it came to having a good time and forgetting about his pain.

BETTY: This is it, I'm pulling the best friend card. The one that you can't ignore. Since I know you're not /ignoring/ me, but we've both been so busy lately and I miss you :(
BETTY: I demand a movie night ASAP. I'll bring the Twizzlers.

Once again, fate or simply, mother nature at work, drew them back together. Outside of her and Betty’s tent, Ronnie heard the faint sounds of tree branches rustling. It was possible she was just being paranoid however, given everything that’s recently taken place, that seemed relatively normal. Plus there was the fact that she was a city girl and didn’t know the first thing about surviving in the wilderness. “Betty,” Ronnie whispered to her unconscious, close friend, who barely moved a muscle. She was breathing though which Ronnie supposed was a good sign but didn’t bode well for her. Kevin, who was in the tent next to them, was just as impossible to wake. Like Betty, he slept like a rock. Which left Ronnie with no other choice but to move on to the one person she should have stayed far away from; Archie. He was sound asleep, laying face up on his back, and resembled the likes of an angel as Veronica slid into his tent and lightly shook his shoulder, “Archie? -- Archie... Wake up.”
