Alright, it's officially decided. I'm becoming a wedding/engagement blog. It will be mixed with some Potter/Glee/Starkid/other still, but I'm going to try and keep it mostly on-board for theme. Which means I'll probably be changing my blog name sometime soon.
Though I doubt people will, you might think “why?”
Well, if you don’t know me, then I can tell you that my two of my future career ideas are related to weddings.
wedding/engagement photography
event and wedding planning
wedding dress designer (this is more of an old hobby/dream than a career choice now but I’ll add it to the list)
I’m not overly obsessed with weddings, and I’m not really too sure of what attracted to me to those careers and everything they entail, but I love it. Anyone who does know me, can tell you that I do not, by any means, believe in the idea of “forever”, “always” or marriages lasting, partly due to trust issues, but partly due to.. I guess logic. Nothing lasts forever. But I came across a perfect quote for me and my idea for wedding careers (at least photography), even though I don’t hold hope that they survive:
Maybe happy ever after was bull, but she knew she wanted to take more pictures of moments that were happy. Because then they were ever after. (Vision in White by Nora Roberts)
In those moments (in photos. memories* for event planning), the happiness of their wedding day will be frozen in time. It can be shadowed by a death or divorce, but the joy of the day will never disappear completely. And that’s what I like about it. You can create something for someone/a couple an assurance of happiness that will last for years.
lololol I lost a follower, I'm assuming because of the wedding spazz. That's what this blog is becoming. I'll repost my explanation for it, but feel free to unfollow if that's not your thing.
KATIE, GEO AND KIM GO TO THE MALL PART II
(kim, geo and katie decide it's a good idea to watch cars 2 because fuck da police)
Lightening McQueen: See, that's why I love you.
Kim/Geo/Katie: +grabs hands and scream AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW+
Kim: Is it normal to want to bone a car? Because I'm telling ya, it's pretty forefront in my mind.
KATIE, GEO AND KIM GO TO THE MALL
Kim: I'm fat.
Katie: You're not fat.
Kim: I'm fat. Seriously.
Katie: YOU'RE NOT FAT.
Kim: KATIE. My lovehandles could be put on tupperware.
(No further response due to ten minutes of screaming laughter)
