Some scary stuff practice for my original stuff! I think I have a long way to go before I can actually do scary pictures, but regardless it was fun :3
There will be some more my hero stuff coming out soon on here. I don’t think I’m gonna separate my fan stuff from my original stuff. To be frank I’m too lazy for that lol. So hopefully all you folks who came here for my hero won’t mind the occasional jaunt into my own work!
So, I’m not really sure how to start this but… @pallanophblargh ! Have some gift art of your amazing Pallanophs! I hope you don’t mind me including my own critters (ginkova) in the pictures!
You’ve been a huge inspiration to me, not only in creature design ( I love pallanophs, aequis, and the gryphons), but also just in general artistic skill.
And in taking care of plants (Your succulents look amazing! Mine have been suffering a bit. My poor Aloe and Tokyo Sun :c)
You may or may not recognize me from a few years ago (I had a very similar blog name, and had gotten in contact with you because of design similarity concerns) but have since gotten a new blog and redesigned my critters (they have a lot more primate influence than they did before).
Anyway, the first picture is with my own Keva talking to Sulra. She strikes me as the kind of…person? Pallanoph? that would enjoy learning new things in a good conversation. So long as that person knows what they are talking about, anyway. The next is just a ginkova sneaking up on a pallanoph that seemed to be expecting them from the trees. The last few doodles are just some comparisons between pallanophs and ginkovas. (general anatomical comparisons like that are something that I find fun to do, especially with fantasy creatures).
