♕⋙— {|/ Ratatosk hardly expected the younger male to strike upon him, crimson hues widen before he stumbled upon the strike, allowing the boy to harm him, he hand no intention of blocking nor dodging the strike, after all he had deserved it. He struck on anger attacking everything in sight merely because he remembered, that man- those people- he hurt, he merely wanted revenge. He hardly gave thought to the consequences of his actions because of such stupidity. Perhaps having bitter hatred towards those long ago was nothing mare then an excuse to lash out without a damned thought for those around him. Gaze downcast, lips pressed thin, expression hollow, he paused, lifting tanned fingers to play along the abused jawline. No apology would atone for his actions yet it never was harmful to try.\|}

It wasn't as if Emil couldn't understand the hatred. It wasn't as if Emil didn't think of the other wanting, needing the closure of things that had happened to him so long ago, but to act so recklessly. Without thought when they were both together at this moment. To see to each-other's backs so that nothing like this would happen again. How could he? How could he not think of the person who was smiling besides him, who just wanted the other to be calm for a second so they could walk through and not worry about the people who had done such horrible things for that instance. His mouth twisted in a thin line, his own abuse, his own emotions, everything he had gone through to create such a personality so strongly different than the one in front of him.
Was it really so different?
"Sorry i-isn't enough, and you know that." Emil grabbed Ratatosks wrist and tugged him along stubbornly towards a stream not too far away, "C-come on... let's at least c-clean up some of th-those cuts. I don't have any Apple Gels on me at the moment."
Sure, he felt somewhat bad for throwing his fist so quickly after that experience, but ... Emil also felt justified in what he had done. "I th-think I have some bandages though."
