“Big John”
The Triceratops’s skeleton is the largest known and is over 66 million years old.
His skull is particularly spectacular, which is 2.62 meters long and 2 meters wide. Its two largest horns are 1.1 meters long and over 30cm wide at their base.
It consist of 200 fossilized bones. Its skeleton is over 60% complete (Including 75 percent for the skull).
Big John was discovered in 2014 in the US state of South Dakota by geologist Walter W. Stein Bill. Its restoration was carried out in Trieste in Italy.
