The Giraffe Weevil (Trachelophorus Giraffa), not to be confused with Lasiorhynicus Barbicornis who shares the same common name, is a small species of weevil native to Madagascar. They are known for their long necks, from which they get their namesake. The males have necks up to 2-3 times larger than the females! The male weevils have been known to use their long necks for combat against other males.
I finally figured out how to get sketchbook to run on the chomebook! It's still a little choppy sometimes, but usable now. The first drawing is from my chomebook, the second my school sketchbook. We had to pick a bug and draw a scientific diagram for it. The first image wasn't an assignment, I just like giraffe weevils lol.
