Girdle book triumph! This semester, Melissa Moreton and her Historical Book Structures class took on the challenge of creating models of historical girdle books. The Kolarik Bindery was briefly renamed the Girdle Book Factory as students worked their bindings, leather, wooden boards, sewn endbands, and metal furniture and clasps to create these beauties.
