PM Modi to gift 200 cows to village in Rwanda | india news Prime Minister Narendra Modi will gift 200 cows in a symbolic gesture to a village in Rwanda, his first stop in a five-day, three-nation tour of Africa which begins Monday.

Their cow is donated by the Girinka project.

Since the program started in 2006, more than 180.000 families has benefited from the the program. Besides a cow the family also receives training on Breeding - Nutrition - Housing - Health - Management and Record Keeping.
