Synaesthesia is a perceptual phenomenon in which two senses can overlap in a person’s brain. Not only did we (@mishaela and @tschessigar on the app) find out that we both have grapheme-color synesthesia - a form of the phenomenon where words have different colors - we found out through bonding about it that we happened to have the exact same colors for all the days of the week! It’s estimated that about 1 in 2000 people (0.05%) have a form of synaesthesia, so we were understandably excited when we found each other, and realized how similar our form of synaesthesia is! #GISHbond

Meet @LamentedPenguin my #GISHBond twin who shares the same love for Neil Gaiman ( @neil-gaiman ) & public transport & reading on buses as onlookers peer on. (P.S Opt for Public Transport, lovelies all round the world, for cleaner greener future).

We each know at least 5 languages, are introverts, wear glasses, #GISH ing from countries- India & Japan with a handful of gishers!

We love our old classic rock, @Nirvana & Tubthumper's #Chumbawamba! We live in places devoid of other gishers & have decided to become pen-pals like the good old days and send across postcards. @GISH How cool is that?

@saywhatjessie  and I have a lot in common despite living 3,500KM away in different countries (West Coast Canada, East Coast USA) with nearly a decade between us!

We both have BA’s in English, have spent time in Italy, and love Harry Potter and Hamilton (when we are not fangirling all over Supernatural). 

What makes us weirder however, is that we are both still playing Pokemon Go (Go Team Mystic!) after almost everyone else has ditched it!
