GITH PARAGON (Homebrew Class)
Inspired by the racial Paragon classes within the Unearthed Arcana (page 32), Gith Paragon follows the same patterns that the other racial Paragon classes employ, but is designed for the Githyanki and Githzerai races. While this is a homebrew class, you’ll notice that the class is just as balanced as the other Paragon classes presented by Wizard’s of the Coast.

Requirements To qualify to become a gith paragon, a character must fulfill all the following criteria. Race: Githyanki or Githzerai. Class Skills The gith paragon’s class skills (and the key ability for each skill) are Climb (Str), Concentration (Con, Githzerai only), Craft (Int), Intimidate (Cha, Githyanki only), Jump (Str), Spot (Wis), Swim (Str). See chapter 4 of the Player’s Handbook for skill descriptions. Skill Points at Each Level: 2 (Githyanki only) or 4 (Githzerai only) + Int modifier.
Class Features All of the following are features of the gith paragon class. Weapon and Armor Proficiency: gith paragon gain no proficiency with any weapon or armor.
Powers Known: At 2nd and 3rd level, a githyanki paragon gains additional power points per day and access to new powers as if she had also gained a level in whatever manifesting class she belonged to before she added the class. However, a githzerai paragon only gains this benefit at 2nd level. She does not, however, gain any other benefit a character of that class would have gained (bonus feats, metapsionic or item creation feats, psicrystal special abilities, and so on). This essentially means that she adds the level of gith paragon to the level of whatever manifesting class the character has, then determines power points per day, powers known, and manifester level accordingly. If a character had more than one manifesting class before she became a gith paragon, she must decide to which class she adds the new level of gith paragon for the purpose of determining power points per day, powers known, and manifester level. If the character did not belong to a manifesting class before taking this class, she does not gain manifesting levels.
Improved Darkvision (Ex): At 1st level, a gith paragon’s darkvision range increases by 30 feet.
Bonus Feat: At 1st level, a gith paragon gains a bonus feat, which must be selected from the following list: Githyanki Charm, Githyanki Control, Githyanki Dismissal, Githyanki Ectoform, Githzerai Burst, Githzerai Feedback, Githzerai Knock, Githzerai Link, Psionic Meditation, Psionic Talent, Wild Talent. She must meet all the prerequisites for the feat.
These feats can be found in either the Complete Psionics, or the Expanded Psionics Handbook.
Improved Power Resistance (Ex): At 2nd level, a gith paragon’s power resistance increases by 2.
Ability Bonus (Ex): At 3rd level, a githyanki paragon’s Constitution score increases by 2 points, and a githzerai paragon’s Dexterity score increases by 2 points.
