No matter what my holidays look like, I try to find a way to make someone else's special. For the past couple of years I have done backpacks for Saving Innocence, but that often left me more depressed than uplifted, since human trafficking is so horrific. I'm happy my new church @beachcitieschurch offered Samaritan's Purse's @operationchristmaschild shoeboxes. As you can tell, I went a bit overboard, so ended up doing two. And they let you track the boxes now! In shopping for the gifts, I found myself feeling uplifted, rather than depressed, and it makes me smile thinking about the delight these girls will have in receiving these gift shoeboxes.
