I got perked cat food

I get some interesting Klout perks. The best was the #givefair package last year before the holidays but I was excited for Batman and Chanel - today they would live my Klout vicariously through a 6 pack of the new Fancy Feast Purely. 

The packaging is complex, well designed and attractive. But the felines do not care about that. Esthetics are for the humans and we buy with our eyes. I can see people buying this.

But what did Batman and Chanel think of the gourmet cat grub?

Batman lapped up the ‘delicate broth’ from the Natural White Meat Chicken & Shredded Beef Entrée... tried to eat a few pieces, spit them out, gave up fairly quickly and walked away. 

Chanel did the same thing, sucked the Tender Tongol Tuna Entrée dry of delicate broth and then she began to carry pieces of it, shake her head and spit them out - all over my floor. What you see in the photo above is not dirt on the floor, it’s light and dark bits of Tender Tongol Tuna - and friends, it’s all over the floor. She eventually got bored and came in the living room. She wanted nothing to do with Batman’s leftovers.

Though I appreciate the samples, they didn’t go over very well with the members of the household who would actually use them. 

Meh....
