On one hand, wow I really love the art style. The character design, the shading, the clothing, I felt the art style and art are tailored for me. On the other hand, dang, this comic is not fooling around with the gore.

Decide to read the latest GK chapters after working in a new job I found this month.
What I got: samurai feels and circus hilarity
So I catch up with the latest chapter, and I did not expect a character driven chapter starring one of my favourite characters.
Reading the latest chapters for Golden Kamuy.
*SCREAMS*
Now in chapter 32. Boy, for a treasure hunting story set in early 1900s Japan, there sure is lot of cooking and cuisines
Also I love the realism and research done in the worldbuilding. It makes he world more believable, it makes the characters more grounded, and I get to learn more stuff outside textbook! Really appreciate it.
I really like Asirpa. She's badass and highly motivated without sounding cliche or obnoxiously "you go girl!". Hope she gets development and nothing bad happens to her *hopes severely* Also I really enjoy her interactions with the male lead. They are honestly atypical in character and dynamic in terms of anime, and I love it.
