For the drawing request: how about any of the Golden Kamuy characters (especially the elemental ones)?

Ogata's colors pending.

Otherwise, here's Ogata, Ienaga, and Sugimoto!

I need to add some effects to Ienaga's skin to make it looks sparkly/like a prism. Sugimoto is part cedar tree. And Ogata was super quick, which is why the colors feel weird to me, but he's a lynx!

I really liked drawing Sugimoto's hair. I will need to one day make a fully rendered drawing with his hair because I think it will be fun (I already have fun drawing Yinu's flower hair, so I don't see why I won't like Sugimoto's cedar leaf hair).

I definitely need to work on Ogata some more, but it's difficult because I feel like I can't get his face right whenever I draw him which leads to me not wanting to draw him lol.

Fun fact with Ienaga, this was her original face I drew:

It just felt so... not her. Too wide I think, as well as too young. If anything, it looks like Azula mixed with Ienaga haha!

I like her more muppet look I ended up gaving her. It's cute :3c

DEER KIRAWUS!! (Love how he has dots like IRL Yezo sika deer, the fancy ears, his eyes having slits and the horns!! So pretty!)

I was specifically using Ezo deer as my search reference term!

Because I am pretty sure those are the deer living around Kirawus' village. I forget exactly, because it's been a tiny bit since I watched/read that part, but I am pretty sure they were called Ezo deer by Asirpa or Sugimoto.

Will need to work on my deer drawings it looks like if I am gonna be drawing more Kirawus (which I do hope to draw more of him and other GK characters).

(I apologize if I’ve already sent this ask) Just found out that today (February 4th) is Kirawus’ birthday! Happy birthday, sweet deer man who’s one of my faves in GK! (Love the idea of him being a deer elemental in the OG Eriverse-GK timeline, and him being someone who was transfigured into a deer elemental in the modern Eriverse AU timeline)

Happy (now) belated birthday Kirawus!

Just a quick design I will probably change later on. Pretty sure this is my first time drawing anything deer related (antlers/horns my enemy, I can never get them right lol).

Don't know how much elemental to show when it comes to animal elementals. It's a reason I want to redesign Ham, because I feel like I should integrate the animal designs a bit better somehow?

But hey, here's a deer elemental Kirawus!

Ogata god a prosthetic eye it looks like! Also that whole scene where it goes from like Hijikata to Vasily to Ogata was really well animated!

Hear me out: Okuyama Kantaro (GK)/Ino Takuma (JJK)!

I feel like these two might get along as friends or as romantic partners! They have the similar "young and full of energy with a touch of 'youngest sibling energy' despite having witnessed The Horrors" energy!

Both were kids brought up in a society where they were treated like pawns to fulfill a greater goal (at least canon Takuma was, don't know about Eriverse Takuma but he probably also could have been brought up in a similar manner).

Don't know how their relationship would be off the top of my head if they were put in the same room.

I can see Kantarou being more serious even if he does have a lot of energy, so I can definitely see Takuma helping him lower his guard and just relax a bit more.

I do also think that the two could help each other grow into the men they want to be. Both seem to want to prove themselves to others (Takuma specifically to Nanami), but they could help each other feel accomplished and proud of themselves for who they are instead of having to rely on other people's opinions.

So far I do see them as really close platonic friends, but that could definitely change to romantic partners at some point. I kinda see Takuma as aroace for whatever reason. Don't have any idea for Kantarou at the moment though.

Cute fun fact! In GK’s fourth ending, Kadokura and Kirawus are described as “Ossan’s Mob”. (‘Ossan’ refers to middle aged men in Japanese, and this ‘mob’ is a reference to ‘mobs’ or NPCs/characters who have little relevance in the main plot.

Where this gets interesting is how there’s a famous J-drama called “Ossan’s Love”. It’s one of the first of its kind to focus around MLM relationships.

“Ossan’s Mob” and “Ossan’s Love” sound suspiciously similar, and thus I would not be very surprised if Kadokura and Kirawus were an item.

Ooooh... So that's what Ossan means. I watched an anime called Ossan Newbie Adventurer (not putting the whole title) and didn't even think to look up what that word means.

I actually did know what Mob was thanks to people explaining how English people perceive Mob Psycho 100 vs how Japanese people perceive the title.

Anyway, I fucking love that so much about those two!

Though I do wonder what Kirawus' thoughts on mlm relations would be. I reread the bestiality chapters to see if he said anything, but it was just Asirpa who had a confused, sorta negative outlook on the situation. Though that was more in regards to a human and kamuy having sex, she did show confusion that if there's no way to make a baby then it shouldn't happen.

That makes me think that Kirawus could have a similar outlook, but considering he is an adult he could have changed his opinion or always had a different opinion to what we see Asirpa have.

I think Kadokura, having been a head jailer in what I believe is an all male prison (both staff and prisoners), I think he could have seen some stuff that changed his mind about same sex relations (especially with all the boner-bros in the prison).

So yea! I do think it would be cool for the two to be an item! :D
